Okay so I'm not one that follows college basketball, or any other sport for that matter, very regularly. However, when I learned that Jake chose Kansas to win in his bracket at work and more importantly that if he won he wanted to use the $200 plus to go toward a weekend getaway for just the two of us my interest was peeked! So for the first time in my life I've followed March Madness very closely and have actually surprised myself how exciting it has been. And last night was the most exciting of all when Kansas beat Memphis in an INTENSE final game to take the NCAA championship! GO KANSAS! Even though most people favored Memphis to win, Kansas proved to be the better team (thanks to Memphis' inability to shoot free throws... and Chalmers sweet 3 point shot with 2 seconds left which sent them into over time...way to stay focused under pressure!) So weekend getaway here we come!

How fun! You just sound like one of the guys with all your basketball knowledge! Man, if a weekend getaway was on the line for Andrew winning the March Madness pool instead of just bragging rights within my family, you better believe I would be glued to the TV every game praying his team would win! Have fun, let us know where you're off too!
Paul was glued to the television also! Pretty exciting, especially since you actually get something!! Let us know if you need babysitters! I'd love to come spend some time with the girls if you need me.

that really would make the games exciting. Once duke is out, seth loses a little interest, but i must admit, i was even a little dissapointed to miss such an intense game. Congrats, where are you guys going??
Oh Kamroid I was glued to the T.V. as well, but fell asleep by halftime sad to say...however when Chase woke me from my slumber I was so mad I missed it, and yet so happy that Kansas had won!!! Go Kansas, I felt like calling you! I'm pumped for you guys to get a getaway!!!! March madness rocks!! Good picking Jake:)!
I wish I could take your kids for a weekend so you could have a getaway! They were so adorable at Easter (as always!).
That's awesome Kenna! I wish Ben could win us a getaway :) And yes sir, we are going to the reunion. That's one good thing about living in Idaho. We are only 1 hour and 45 minutes from Carey :) Can't wait to see everyone. You'll be there, right?

Oh, a night without the kids would be nice...though we all know we love 'em to pieces...we all need a break sometimes :)
