Brynlee is 5!

Brynlee turned 5 this month!  Her Birthday landed on a Wednesday and we planned a "friend" party for the next Saturday so her "real" birthday was spent with the family.  I told her we could do whatever she wanted, a dangerous thing to tell a 5 year old!  However, her requests ended up being quite easy to fulfill.  A backyard lunch of Mac N' Cheese, a movie for quiet time, decorating the house with streamers,  and dinner at the Pizza Factory (they make a special breadstick in the shape of the number of years old you are on your birthday!)  After dinner she opened her presents from us and Grandma and Grandpa.

Then Saturday Finally came!!  This was Brynlee's first "friend" party and she was pretty excited.  She decided she wanted a Hello Kitty party, so a Hello Kitty party is what she got...and if I never see Hello Kitty again I would be just fine with that!!!!

Brynlee and her guests enjoyed a lunch of Nutella and Bannana and Nutella and Strawberry Jam sandwiches cut in the shape of flowers, strawberries, watermellon, strawberry jello, and popcorn.

Oh Lydia...

This is Lydia.  She is 2.5 years old.  She is... well curious about all things

Creamy,
Destine...she has smeared this on herself, walls, beds and furniture no less than 437 times despite my efforts to hide the darn stuff.

Sanitary,
Hard to see but this was an entire bottle of hand sanitizer, thankfully it was travel size.  However, 2 days later she did drench herself with a regular sized bottle...clean freak!

and Powdery.
My brand new makeup.  Not shown...the lip gloss she later smeared all over the walls!

Jello anyone?  You can't see all the boxes in this picture but she emptied 9 boxes... in 30 seconds!   And she had to get through this barrier first... and don't think she just pushed that card table over to get through, since there is a bookshelf and a 50 pound barrel of wheat holding that table there, she climbed over it instead!

She also loves clothes.  So much so that she changes them 52 times a day and tries to get as many items on at a 1 time as she can.
The best part about this picture is that we were running late to get somewhere when she came out in this 4 shirted ensemble.  I didn't have time to change her so she was out in public in this beauty!
Oh Lydia, I hope you have a 2 year old just like you someday!  Life would be boring without you, I love you!!!
