Thanksgiving Point

Since I didn't think to take any pictures over thanksgiving I thought I post some pictures of our trip to Thanksgiving Point the week before! My brother in law works there and has so graciously gotten us a membership passes, which is fabulous! Thanks John! This is at the Dinosaur Museum at the sand and water table. Brynlee thought is was really fun the flip the sand everywhere. Needless to say both she and Jake had sand from head to toe!
Gracie with her Cousin Marin. I'm pretty sure we could have stayed there all day and the kids would have been happy.
Behind bars in Farm Country!
I had never actually seen a white goose before... and it was Huge! You can see by my dorky smile I thought it was neat:)
The pony ride... despite her look in the picture Gracie really did like this part
A very friendly cow!
Notice Gracie running away... she really thought the animals were cool until the calf "mooed" at her when she was about 2 inches from it's face... I guess I don't blame her the "moo" was quite loud and unexpected!
Brynlee on the other hand never got sick of the animals. I wish we had video camera with us. Everytime we got close to an animals she'd get almost gidy but a little nervous at the same time which resulted in this funny dance and odd squeal!

It was a fun night and I'm sure we'll be back soon!

A Walk Down Memory Lane

I'm dedicating this post to all my RC 305 roomies! A couple of weekends ago I had a chance to meet a couple of high school friends in Rexburg for a little reunion and we had a blast! Since I was in Rexburg couldn't resist going to see good ol' Royal Crest. Upon pulling into the parking lot and seeing our old apartment a flood of memories came back. Late night dance parties, double bubble chewing contests, secret food stealers, bad milk, boyfriends and fiances, and Lots and Lots of good times and laughing! It was seriously one of the best years of my life... Thanks for all the Great memories girls!!! Let's have a reunion!

New Couches!

We were very grateful when we got married that my parents had just remodeled their house, because that meant we got all their old furniture! Therefore we haven't had to buy any of our own furniture... until now. The couches we got from my parents have been good to us, but they were starting to get pretty worn and when Gracie decided to tear a hole in one of them we decided it was time. We found a great place in Provo that sells scratch and dent furniture and found these couches there for and unbelieveable price that we just couldn't pass up! The only thing wrong was a little 2 in. scratch on the wood of the sofa, which with a little stain you can't tell at all! While they are a little more "formal" than what I had envisioned, we just couldn't pass up such a good deal! What do you think!?!
