New Couches!

We were very grateful when we got married that my parents had just remodeled their house, because that meant we got all their old furniture! Therefore we haven't had to buy any of our own furniture... until now. The couches we got from my parents have been good to us, but they were starting to get pretty worn and when Gracie decided to tear a hole in one of them we decided it was time. We found a great place in Provo that sells scratch and dent furniture and found these couches there for and unbelieveable price that we just couldn't pass up! The only thing wrong was a little 2 in. scratch on the wood of the sofa, which with a little stain you can't tell at all! While they are a little more "formal" than what I had envisioned, we just couldn't pass up such a good deal! What do you think!?!

Very cute! They are formal, but they look great! I can't pass up a good deal either! I love getting hand me downs from my parents, but now that Katie is getting married I think we'll move to 2nd on the list!

What a find!!!Those are great!!!! I love them!

That reminds me of the time that you and I were determined to get RC 305 a comfy couch... and we did. That was the best DI find we could've had! I am so proud of us Kennos!! Everyone loved our couch!

Ooh.. I like your new couches. New furniture is so fun, probably because it only happens every few years. And your photo board that you were describing sounds so great. I totally got what you were saying. Maybe I'll take a crack at it. Do you have any pictures of it? Have fun with your new couches.

Those look so great! You will have those forever! I love that dark wood, so nice. Definitely a couple steps up from the DI couch we used to havein rc305, i can't believe we took naps on that thing, why didnt we invest in some cleaner or something? Good old college life.

We still have mom and dads ole plaid couches, and we'll have them for a few more years so I understand the excitement of new furniture! love ya- Krista

What an awesome deal!! The furniture is really beautiful. It should last you a long time. I really like them a lot. Still trying to talk Paul into getting a new couch, but he thinks the one we have (15+ years old) is still okay - NOT! I just need to find a great deal like you did!. We are looking forward to seeing you over Thanksgiving and hopefully spend a night or two. We'll call you about our plans as soon as we figure it out ourselves.
