Spring Fever

I don't think I've ever been so ready for spring to come. We've tried a few times to go play in the snow but between the snow being to deep for the girls to walk in and the mud underneath the snow (ugh I can't wail until we have grass!!!) making a HUGE mess we are pretty much stuck indoors:( So it was a nice treat to receive these springing flowers yesterday (they were suppose to come Valentines Day...long story!) from Jake! I find myself just staring at them imagining what warm dry weather feels like!:) Is anyone else ready for spring? What do you do to entertain your kids indoors... I'm out of ideas!

Hey sweet thing!

If you'd like to bring the kids over here, you're more than welcome to come hang out for a few days! ;-) I love your flowers! It's always nice to get some spring color in the house this time of year.

We miss ya'll!
Love ya!

Hi Kenna, I don't know if you remember me, but I am from Colstrip, MT. My name is Alicia Vincent, but my married name is Steere now. We went to girls camp together and we were actually in the same ward up at BYU-I. Our parents know each other too. Anyways, I found your blog and wanted to say HI! Your girls are so cute!

i love your new background! Jackson really doesn't love the snow either, he is good for about 10-15 min. I feel bad cause kaylee could stay out there all day. I am dying for spring to come. Kaylee tells me everyday that she cannot wait until it is warm enought to use the pool.

As for good indoor activities, i dont have tons, but i try to do lots of playgroups, storytimes, kid centered things. But lately venturing out has not been as appealing as i get bigger, so i have been trying new recipes with them, and as long as i have no time limitations or expectations on how it should be done, it is really fun for all of us to do together. We tried making bagels, cookies, muffins (actually the recipe on the side of april's blog)pizza, and more recently "stone soup" (like the book) My kids loved doing that, and they actually ate it later! Okay, this was really long.

I know how you feel. I'm so ready for spring too. Actually, I don't mean to make you jaylous, but we've had some pretty nice days lately and we've been able to go outside and all the snow is now melted...yea!!But I'm still waiting for those nice 70+ degree days. But that's the nice thing about having winter - it makes you appreciate the nice weather sooo much more.

Did your snow melt down there like it did up here? I say we have a playdate...it's been so gorgeous outside these last few days. When are you free??

Your girls are so cute. I understand about the "Cabin Fever". My boys have been driving me nuts because they've being cooped up inside the house for the past four months. I'm glad that it's finally warm enough to let them go out a little bit. So, I finally started a blog. You will have to visit sometime. It's NKHardman.blogspot.com

I personally would rather receive flowers on a random day of the year than Valentines Day so whatever happened was for the better, they are pretty and I too am sooooo ready for Spring!
