Our good friends Mike and Julie Tanner called us Monday and surprised us by telling us they were in town! (they live in Boise, ID) We were so excited to see them and since Mike is turning 40 this weekend (holy cow old man!:)) we decided to throw him a little surprise birthday party. Thanks Mike and Julie...it was a blast, we miss you guys!!
Some of my best memories are from visiting my grandparents house so it's so fun to see my kids making some good memories of their own. They sure do have some of the Best Grandparents out there! Here are some pictures from our trip to Lander this past weekend to see Grandma and Grandpa Smith.

We were SO excited that Tanner so Generously shared some of his strawberry jam that he got from a recent trip to our Grandma Murdock's house. You really can't appreciate the pure yumminess unless you've tried it! I think we each ate 5 to 10 rolls smothered with jam...except of course Brynlee who skipped the rolls all together and just ate it by the spoonful! Yes it's really THAT GOOD! YUMMY! This is what we like to call snowman building "Jake" style! After Jake and Gracie had been building their snowman for awhile I came out to give them a carrot , like any good Mom would do, but when I walked around the front of the snowman and saw this I just handed the carrot to Gracie for a healthy snack! Jake was kinda sad that he didn't have time to finish it... arms, legs etc... Way to go Jake!
Well it's taken awhile to recover from all the Holiday festivities, but I've finally found a minute to post all our Christmas fun! After a rough start having to take Brynlee to the ER (she had a fever so high she had a seizure...YIKES not fun!!) and Gracie waking up the next night throwing up... we had a great time up in Montana! It was so fun to spend time with my family and for Gracie and Brynlee to have cousins to play with 24/7.
